Find a children and family wellbeing service - Lancashire County Council
This service aims to provide early help on a whole range of issues affecting families. They offer the following groups:
- The Freedom Programme - A supportive course for women to increase their self-confidence, to feel empowered and make positive changes to their lives and relationships.
- Healthy Relationships - A course designed for parents to support in understanding parental relationships, why we argue, how we can resolve issues in a healthy way and why our parental relationships are important for our children.
- SWAN - Support With Additonal Needs - aimed at parents/ carers to provide a space for parents/ carers to meet with support, advice and guest speakers.
- Triple P Parenting Programme - learn how to teach your child to understand and accept boundaries, develop new skills and develop independence.

DIAS is a registered charity that supports those affected by domestic violence and abuse.
We are a specialist provider of support, advice and counselling for the entire Wigan and Leigh Borough.
Since October 2020 DIAS has become part of the WBDAS- Wigan Borough Domestic Abuse Service. This is a joint partnership project between DIAS Domestic Violence Centre and the Well Women Centre, Leigh.
At WBDAS we are there to provide advice of the choices available. We work to empower and support anyone affected by Domestic Abuse to decide what is best for them and their family.
