We hope you are all well.
As you will probably be aware the DfE published its guidance for opening schools in September to all pupils on Thursday of last week. Our Senior Leadership Team and I are now working through this guidance, in detail, to apply it to our own school circumstances.
Before the end of term, we will be sending plans to parents/carers in order to ensure that we are all fully aware of how school will be organised in September. There are a series of measures that we will need to put into place to create the safest conditions possible for our pupils such as staggered entry, exits, breaks and lunch times. Once we have developed all plans in detail we will contact parents/carers and request your support by completing a survey on our website.
This afternoon, End of Year Reports have been emailed to parents/carers in Years 3, 4 and 5. The reports for children in other classes will be emailed tomorrow and Wednesday. Thank you for your patience in waiting for your child's report. As this is a new way of communicating reports to parents/carers, more time has been required in the office to complete the task.
We look forward to sharing plans for September with you all shortly. Whilst there is a lot to consider, there is also a lot to look forward to as we plan to bring our whole school community back together after such a long period apart.
